UK-based British/Irish filmmaker Mark Warmington works internationally, with a focus on documentaries alongside commercial, narrative and music productions for film and television.
An inductee to the American Society of Cinematographer's ASC Vision Mentorship Programme in 2020, Mark made his directorial feature film debut with a documentary titled Harder Than The Rock, whichpremiered at Sheffield DocFest 2024 and went on theatrical release in UK cinemas later that year, to acclaimed reviews and national press coverage. The film was one of 8 feature documentaries officially up for a 2025 Grierson Award in the Arts & Music category. Sky and Arte have picked up Harder Than The Rock on acquisition deals and it is available globally on various streaming platforms, including Amazon Prime, Tubi + Mubi.
Mark is currently in post-production on his second feature-length documentary as a director.
King of Dirt is scheduled for release in 2027.
