In 2020, Mark was chosen from a global field of applicants for admission to the American Society of Cinematographer's ASC Vision Mentorship Programme. Since then, Mark has gone on to make his directorial debut with a documentary feature film titled Harder Than The Rock, which premiered at Sheffield DocFest 2024, before a successful theatrical release in UK cinemas later that year, to acclaimed reviews and national press coverage. The film was acquired by Sky in the UK & Ireland and will be distributed worldwide in 2025, via LA-based distributor Indie Rights.
